With IRL injustice & corruption seemingly pervading every aspect of modern life, it just weirds me out being associated with anything reflecting the grotesque ugliness of #fascism

What i find very worrying is the very real chance that de AfD may be winning the next elections in Germany. It would be the comeback of fascism and nazism. There are no other words to describe it. It would severely weaken the EU at a minimum, destabilize europe. I know some state actors who would consider that a good outcome and will do everything to make that happen.

it makes me sad that i grew up all my life with the core knowledge that Nazis are bad.... and that seemed to be a universally held - and upheld - truth.
But then everyone got addicted to social media platforms and now it's fine if those companies pay Nazis to post rage bait. People will just keep scrolling anyway.
