If anyone else has been trying to set up automatic post deletion on Moshidon, you can't, it has to be done through a browser. This is probably blindingly obvious to most people. You have to have a right old dig about clicking on Preferences and hamburgers and Prefs again and so on. I've set mine to delete after six months. No-one needs to look at my old nonsense by then. I am grandly going to give this the hashtag

#ElasticSearch in #Mastodon is broken for a while already, or is it just me ??
(My provider tells me that there is a bug and they can't do anything about it)
In the meantime I'm downloading all my toots with mastodon.py and searching locally to find stuff. Not ideal :(
