We need to stop this harmful practice. There are other ways to celebrate the new year which doesn't harm nature, environment or animals.

We had quite the light show last night with at least 6 different groups of fireworks visible across the entire Toronto skyline. Here is a short video of 2 sets of fireworks, one at the Harbourfront and the other at the Distillery District. It's a little blurry because I zoomed in on a small section of skyline near the CN Tower.

A little clip from last night's city #fireworks here in Cambridge. I love these sparky ones in slo-mo.

Slow motion fireworks sparkle their way heavenwards, spitting out crackling branches sideways as they go. Then two big detonations go off above, sending out expanding bursts of red stars.
