As a #trans person it makes me sad I can’t visit #Florida. My mom is talking about going to an event there and I don’t think I feel safe going.

Legal Victory Protects Florida Wetlands
The U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled today that permits to build in Florida wetlands should stay in the hands of federal regulators rather than the state. The ruling upholds a 2020 decision by U.S. District Judge Randolph Moss that the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service violated the Endangered Species Act when the agencies approved Florida’s wetlands permitting program in 2020.

Black snakes on the green garden hose.
It's that time of year.
Love is in the air.
We had snake orgies in the crotons earlier and these two apparently snuck off to mingle on a hose.
Not sure why but our property seems to host snake orgies in the spring.
