Weekend #Plankton Factoid 🦠🦐
Plankton is fundamental to the functioning of aquatic #ecosystems. An example was seen in the 2013 deaths of #Florida bottlenose dolphins. Dense harmful phytoplankton

Took a walk along the Venetian Waterway Park this morning. Noticed what I first thought was a bicycle track leading from the water. Look closely.
#florida

I am standing on a concrete sidewalk . There is a sandy area in front of me that leads to a brush filled bank to the intracoastal waterway in Venice Florida which is salt water. There is a grooved track leading from the water that has a regular side to side weave to it. On the sides of it are large paw prints . I'd say alligator but could have also been a large invasive lizard.
