Also, belated #FootpathFriday...
I absolutely love board walks and southern Bavaria has a decent amount (and distance) of them due to hundreds of swamps and moors, remnants from the melting ice age glaciers...
(I thought, I had this post scheduled to go out yesterday, but somehow I messed up the dates, so now manually, one day later...)

The End Of A Long Summer (2023)

oh wow #footpathfriday again! And I almost missed it. This is from a bike and hike last year which I really really enjoyed.
Afterwards I was quite surprised about the distance and height that I covered. But it was worth it.

Steps Into The Unknown (2025)
(Actually a lie, since this was taken on the way back, just before sunset, but it was "into the unknown" a six hours earlier... These steps of the only partially secured path are leading up to around 100 meters above/along the increasingly more steep and narrow canyon. The rocks/slopes on the left go up almost another 2000m [out of view, of course]...)
