On June 10, 2026, the FPF Center for Artificial Intelligence convened a Frontiers Workshop in Washington, DC. Held as part of FPF’s NSF-funded Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs) Research Coordination Network, the workshop brought together privacy and frontier AI practitioners to examine challenges at the intersection of data governance and AI systems.

Gestern 2× #rausgeschafft, einmal für zum einen Brief einwerfen mit etwas "Umweg" auf der Heimfahrt (35km #mdRddG 😇) und einmal #mdRzE. Dabei mal den

Trampelpfad mit großzügigem Lichtraumprofil (sic!) und links und rechts noch etwas Gras durch einen Laubwald.
Ein auf voller Breite geplättelter Feldweg geht in einer Linkskurve auf einen Laubwald zu und verschwindet dann darin in einem dunklen Loch. Im Vordergrund links und rechts Wiesen in verschiedenen Grüntönen, der Himmel blqu mit ein paar wenigen, weißen Wolken.
Hintere Hälfte eines orangefarbenen Brompton Electric G-Line Faltrades mit einem Eerder Metaal "Seat Post Hugger" (einem Adapter, der es erlaubt, Brompton Fronttaschen an einer Sattelstange zu befestigen) auf halber Höhe der Sattelstange und daran ca. 20 Grad nach hinten unten geneigt ein schwarzer, rechteckiger Metallkorb mit darin einer schwarzen Stofftasche im selben Format und mit umlaufendem, reflektierendem Streifen. My partner met up with a friend today and the friend asked how I was doing since my surgery.
Partner: He's doing better. He made bagels the other day.
Friend: Oh good, so he can make lunch on his own?
Partner: No, he didn't... toast a bagel for lunch. He *made* a dozen bagels. Like, made the dough, then boiled and baked them. With three different toppings.

It has been an unusually active few weeks for AI safety policy. Following a new frontier model safety bill passed in Illinois, and a White House executive order on AI security, Rep. Jay Obernolte (R-CA) and Rep. Lori Trahan (D-MA) released a bipartisan discussion draft for the Great American AI Act of 2026, adding another major federal proposal to the rapidly developing frontier AI landscape.
