First day with #freshRss :
I love the feature to mark items as read based on keywords. This could be exactly what I was looking for.
(this was THE thing that I was missing in Feedly - maybe it's possible there on a paid plan, but that's what I didn't want. I'd rather donate to opensource

✅ #freshrss installed (beautifully easy on my Webspace! ❤️)
✅ added all my #RSS Sources (all were loaded without issues)
✅ played around with the config
✅ installed 2 android clients
... now let's see

I've blogged about how I'm using #FreshRSS to get full-text #RSS feeds – and about crowdsourcing configs that will allow folks to subscribe to more things thanks to the web scraping feature!

As one of my next #selfhosting projects I wanted to compare #ttrss and #freshrss
Seems like the choices just narrowed down to freshRSS. TTRss is discontinued -- at least until anotherone wants…

The end of tt-rss.org
On November 1st 2025 I’m going to dismantle the entirety of infrastructure that powers tt-rss.org, cgit, this forum, and other related sites. The reasons for this are many but the tl;dr is that I no longer find it fun to maintain public-facing anything, be it open source projects or websites.
