Finally! I wanted to document this since quite a while: The #Gmail labeling system kept me quite a while from moving my mails away from Google.
In the end it wasn't too complicated -- if you know hw to do it ... (as usual)
Anyways, I've finally written it down. Maybe it helps somebody who want's to get off GMail.

Gmail rolled out an update on October 10, 2025, and a lot of people didn't notice what it actually does. 
Google's Gemini can now automatically scan everything in your inbox - emails, attachments, receipts, financial docs, all of it - to train their Al and build ad profiles. 
If you don't want that, you can turn it off.

To be expected I suppose, but on rejecting #GMail's auto-inclusion of #GeminiAI snoops, seems it also disables Categories, the only feature that was keeping me on their email client!
Only related by the predator, another #Google surprise is notice my website's reCAPTCHA somehow now requires #GooglCloud for which they graciously offer me $300 credit and no indications whatsoever what that buys.
