De Amerikaanse president Trump zei gisteren dat de VS Groenland absoluut nodig heeft. Dat slaat nergens op, vindt de Deense premier. Groenland heeft sinds 2009 zelfbestuur, maar valt nog altijd onder het Deense koninkrijk.

The EU should make clear the people of Greenland are not "for sale". Ultimately the people of Greenland decide for themselves what is good for them that is not decided by the USA/Trump. We should support Denmark and Greenland in anyway we can.

Some of the statements regarding Greenland and Denmark's role don't sit well with me, but I'd like to know a bit more. (Oh, I don't think a US occupation would be favourable for Greenlanders.)
