Roman mosaic of the Greek hero Bellerophon riding the winged horse Pegasus as he is slaying the Chimera. Fire is show to emerge from the Chimera's mouths, both the lion's mouth and the goat's mouth. There is no block of lead on Bellerophon's spear, so he either already placed it or he is yet to come up with that idea. The mosaic was created in the 2nd to 3rd centuries CE.
