The first Avenged Sevenfold record is hardcore as fuck (a LOT of it, mixed with the clean singing too), and I don't think a lot of people know that 😂 I first heard about em back then, right around their first record in 2001, because I used to go to hardcore shows, and at the time, they were playing with hardcore bands. And damn, it's been a while, but revisiting this, yeah, this shit's heavyy haha. I mean, I like em progged out too.

this morning I managed to wake up at 7:30, get the 8:18 bus to the pub for 9am Celtic kickoff, had a full irish breakfast, and after the match as people were leaving I got a bunch of 🫵🏼 "see you next week for cup final?"
also learned one of the guys lives in my neighborhood and passes my building on his morning runs haha. god football is the best thing to ever happen to me

Ich habe mir gerade einen Workshop mit dem Titel „Rampensau“ selbst geschenkt; es geht um improvisierte Soli. Denn trotz allen Teamworks interessiert mich Soloimpro doch am meisten.
Ich habs mir einfach gegönnt. Zum einen nachträglich zum Geburtstag – weil der wegen der Witterungsbedingungen so la la war. Und zur Feier des neuen Jobs (irgendwie muss man das Geld ja wieder ausgeben, hahaha).

Update: Hilton corporate apparently overrode the local hotel’s decision and is inviting ICE back in (article downthread). Be sure to find ways to demonstrate to Hilton how you feel about this.
