I used to post a lot about things I cook. Now I have so many friends in Gaza who are hungry, I mostly don't. But I'm quite pleased with the meal I cooked tonight.
Steak, onion, garlic, cashews, bell pepper, peaches, mushrooms, ginger, orange, salt, rice.

A shallow circular cast iron dish, filled with a mix of rice and other ingredients, and topped with slices of orange.
Some of the dish on a plate. It is colourful and chaotic and very delicious.

Die Schadenfreude über die kaputten Ernten ist widerlich. Und kurzsichtig.
Missernte heißt: teureres Essen, teurerer Strom. Trifft zuerst die, die eh schon rechnen müssen. Also genau das Publikum, das potentiell dann AfD aus Protest wählt.
In Afrika heißt Missernte plus russische Getreideblockade schlicht Hunger.
Der deutschen #Landwirtschaft geht es dabei noch…
