Hopefully some how, someway, we'll have a future and it will be like Star Trek.
Speaking of which I am really excited to find out that Thomas Jane, who played Joe Miller in The Expanse, my other favorite Science Fiction TV, will be playing Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy in the final episode of Series 5 of Star Trek: Next Generation!
Unfortunately even though its in production now, it won't be shown for at least 1 years from now (Season 4 is supposed to come out some time this year).

ok i got my init back and hopefully also updated apt while i was over there. this better work :P

My brother brought over an old Flir sensor. Once I get a card in it I will share pictures. Hopefully I can find the cold spots in my house and know where to focus my attention.

Quite pleased with these pretzel buns I’ve been making and hopefully it’s one more thing I can make in my own kitchen instead of buy from the grocery store.

Update from later in the day in MSP:
I’ve heard or uttered variations on the phrase “I’ll believe it when I see it” in numerous conversations through out the day. That seems to be the prevailing sentiment. People are willing to be hopeful, but nobody’s counting their chickens just yet.

I just saw that the new GTS host is getting jws.social set up. Hopefully this is the last time I need to move the damn thing.

Not what I needed right now....shouldnt be too hard to fix, hopefully, but any good advice??? First I have to haunt down the correct part, and I'm probably going to need a syringethingy to fill it up with grease.

Kelda Roys is not my first choice for Governor of Wisconsin but at least she's a cyclist. (And ebike rider!)
I'm really hoping Wisconsin doesn't take the route of New Jersey with regards to ebike regulations.
We have some good bike advocacy here though (and Trek) so hopefully we're safe.
