the best non-medical feature about West Coast General Hospital is definitely the atrium/waiting room.
Nice natural light. Running water. Naturally planted foliage. Calming, quiet and comfortable even though all around the edges it is go go go.
I am waiting for Tree to finish her MRI. It is a mobile unit that attends WCGH for three weeks, then goes to other hospitals for 7 weeks i think, on a rotation. It is not fancy. you have to go outside to access it which really sucks in the cold and rain.
But it is there and makes a big difference.

“The three nurses are expected to begin working at WCGH early this year, with start dates between January and March,” wrote Island Health in an email to Ha-Shilth-Sa. “Recruitment activity remains strong, with four candidates completed interviews and five more in the interview stage.
