Got tired of forgetting to update #ClaudeCode and seeing it needs an update on launch.
Installed via #HomeBrew on my Mac, I wrote the following zsh function in my ~/.zshrc:
claude() {
local outdated
outdated=$(command brew outdated --greedy --quiet claude-code 2>/dev/null)

I think it is funny, ironic, nerdy, and meta (the proper literal sense) that I have maxed out the 2017 iMac by wanting to install btop while watching it be maxed out on htop.
And yet... it's still posting this, so if stuff doesn't break down now, surely it never will? Even the swap is having a moment. Ooof. I need to be nicer to my machines. lol

I'm looking at Repology, and I think most of the distributions and other downstreams have rightfully boycotted #Python #chardet #copywashing. Of course, there's the possibility that some of them are simply out-of-date, though.
So far chardet-7 is distributed by #Chromebrew, #CondaForge (not on Repology), #Homebrew, #KaOS, #OpenIndiana, #openmamba, #Ravenports, #Spack and #T2 SDE. Shame on you!
