someone was saying about how expensives cars are to run? ..... well... it's been a week of finding out!
$1200 on Monday for tires for the 2019 Kona.
and today the 2012 Prius (262,000km) got her issues dealt with. Looks like the (original) radiator and water pump had some leaks which caused the "master-alarm" that forced us to take it in.
Final bill $2799. Parts and Labour were about 50/50.
So ya... $4000 in the span of 3 days is not fun. But it wasn't completely unexpected. Both cars are fully owned/bought new. So they continue to serve us well now and hopefully for a good bunch more years.
I do still need to get the Kona in for annual brake service.
*deep breath* not this month. 😭
