It is horrible and indefensible that people would be violent toward Jewish people (thinking of the stabbing in Ottawa) for the genocidal actions of the Israeli government. Governments do not and can never represent an entire religious movement, whether they claim to or not.
That said, we can condemn those actions at the same time as not being at all surprised that they occur against the backdrop of the murderous horror being committed to the entire Palestinian people in the form of genocidal military destruction and occupation, colonial repression and erasure, and now, a planned ethnic cleansing to build a white supremacist crypto-billionaire fever dream.
Underlying all of it, the stabbings and the genocide, is what has always been there:

Ich bin nach wie vor der Meinung, dass Netanjahu den 7. Oktober – wenn auch nicht in dieser Dimension – provoziert hat, um einen Vorwand für einen Einmarsch in Gaza zu haben.
