@marcel@waldvogel.familyIch habe gerade mal so rasch #Immich installiert. Wow, war das einfach! Ganz besonders mit dem Docker-Konfigurator: Optionen auswählen, Datei herunterladen und dann einfach "docker compose up -d". Cool!

@crell@phpc.socialOK, I am finally trying out #Immich as people kept suggesting...
Holy crap on a stick, this is sweet!
@Duckbill4994@social.linux.pizza#immich support!!
@nobodyinperson@fosstodon.orgIt's inexplicable to me why apps for #Immich and #Paperless do not have a *button* to upload files from the filesystem. You must use the share-to mechanism from *another* app 🤪 So instead, I just use the webinterfaces (which do have such a button!), those also have much more features anyway...
@Duckbill4994@social.linux.pizza#immich support!!
@andres4ny@social.ridetrans.itI can't stress enough how awesome #Immich is. I've installed other photo gallery stuff before, and this is the first time I've ever not only been happy with it, but actively impressed by the features. It all Just Works, the web interface and android app are a consistent experience, and..it's just good.
Next up, getting my wife off of Google Photos.

Wow thanks to #immich search, I found a photo that I didn't know I took.. A lot of years ago.

@nobodyinperson@fosstodon.orgWould be great if #Immich could just eat audio-only files as well. Immich is great to dump all kinds of photos and videos into, but sometimes you also want to preserve and categorise voice messages or silly recordings. Not really different from a video with a stillframe...
