Bibliotheek Utrecht en overbelasting stroomnet
Het stroomnet raakt op steeds meer plekken en momenten overbelast in Nederland (netcongestie). In grote delen van de provincie Utrecht is het stroomnet overvol. Bibliotheek Utrecht heeft daar ook mee te maken. We zetten daarom op warme dagen (>27 graden) de roltrappen in Bibliotheek Neude naar beneden stil om het elektriciteitsverbruik te verminderen. De roltrap omhoog en de liften blijven in gebruik.

Art history professor Nell Andrew chose a selection of late-19th-century prints from the French periodical “L’Estampe originale” for her course ARHI 4510: Modern Art in Europe 1886–1918. These prints highlight the rapidly evolving environment in which these artists were immersed in and how they interpreted these “physical, technological and psychic shifts” into their own artwork.
