The strait of Hormuz is not fully closed, but probably in practice it is for commercial shipping. No doubt some ships will pass/get through but with the high risks and insurance probably becoming impossible, the transits will be minimal. Together with the strikes on oil producing facilities in Gulf states, oil prices will rise probably.
Iran will strike as broadly as possible in the Gulf region to make defence as hard as possible.

Amazing and scary analysis, Israel and the US have a munitions problem. It is also food for thought for any military in europe for example.
