#Python Hypothesis package now requires #RustLang. This is a scale of reverse dependencies I can't handle. I guess this means it's the end of WD40 profiles on #Gentoo, and therefore the end of support for Alpha, ARM<v6, HPPA, M68k, i486 and some other random subsets of architectures and profiles. Thanks for all the fish, etc.

I wrote this in a discussion where someone was posting anti-ebike stuff:
“I’m a cyclist who switched to an ebike last year due to health issues. As a bonus it also allowed me to bike to work. I ride as courteously as I did on my acoustic, maybe more so. It’s about the rider, their experience, and the respect they show others, more than it is the bike.”
This seems like it’s shaping up to be a rough summer for responsible ebike riders who read the comments.

I understand that potential security or ethical issues of a computer system may not be obvious when the intended application is generally unproblematic.
However, when you specifically list medical, legal, and defense as application domains of your system, storing data locally rather than in the cloud is certainly a good idea, but you should think a bit harder about it.
In particular when it involves AI.
