Het effect van het afzwakken van ingezet beleid:
'Europese bedrijven die al waren begonnen met het opschonen van hun toeleverketens, vrezen dat hun concurrentiepositie juist door de ontmanteling zal worden aangetast.'
Juist de bedrijven die meegroeien met het beleid wat ontwikkeld wordt, worden getroffen.
De zwakke broeders die niet mee kunnen of willen wordt de hand boven het hoofd gehouden.
(Geldt niet alleen in de EU. In NL gebeurt hetzelfde bij afzwakking van maatregelen.)
