Over the weekend I browsed through some of the records I inherited from my parents and stumbled across Johnny Cash's "Bitter Tears" and wondered what the native communities he sang about thought about the record at the time. But I didn't really find any literature or articles on the reception by anybody except by white racists and white liberals. Would anybody have any leads for me to follow to learn more?
