I know how fortunate I am to live in a spot where there are three different farmers markets within a ~10 minute drive, each on a different day of the week. It is definitely the time to take advantage of that.

Recently I was thinking about a couple of people I went to college with — not friends of mine, exactly, but people I had a lot of overlaps with due to mutual friends and shared interests. And today I learned that one of those people died a few months ago at the age of 55. I hadn't spoken to him in decades and, as I say, we were never exactly friends to start with, but I'm so crushed by this news.
