Heute vor 70 Jahren: Am 29. November 1955 kam es im #Versuchsreaktor EBR-I in Arco, Idaho zu einer teilweisen #Kernschmelze während eines Tests zur Kühlmittelflussänderung. Ursache war die thermische Ausdehnung der Brennstäbe.
