Reality check. A reminder for all us geeks.
With all Gentoo, Nix, Slackware, FreeBSD shizzle (and I love it) I can tell you nothing beats the ease and completeness of Linux Mint.
Just installed LMDE 7 beta and it's amazing.
Any day of the week us geeks have to recommend this, once it is out of beta, to newcomers in Linux.

Dernier retour (je pense) de ma première phase d'exploration depuis l'installation de #Linux #LinuxMint sur mon ancien PC.
L'explorateur de fichier par défaut (Nemo basé sur Nautilus) qui propose pas d'aperçu quand on clique sur une image ou un doc.

A propósito de Linux Mint, aún estoy en la versión 21. No pude hacer el upgrade a la versión 22, así que tendré que reinstalar de 0 y luego volver a cargar las aplicaciones. ¡Pero me da una flojera hacer eso!

Sidste uge har jeg, efter #EndOf10 lavede teenageren's laptop om til #linuxMint. Det var en sjov og lærerig rejse. Jeg var meget glad med resultatet. Teenageren var lidt bekymret at det lignede ikke alle andre..
Idag kommer svaret fra skolen at de kun stŸtte Windows og macOS 🤦‍♀️
