Micrometeoroid Impact Rate Analysis for an Artemis-Era #Lunar Base: arxiv.org/abs/2511.04740 -> "a shielded lunar base would experience 0.024--0.037 penetrating impacts per year [...] the lunar poles are optimal for sustained habitation [...] and [...] current shielding technology can reduce micrometeoroid threats by nearly five orders of magnitude, making long-duration lunar habitation feasible."

Deutsche Welle TV interviewed me live on air yesterday an hour after totality of the #LunarEclipse: in the edit youtube.com/watch?v=FXk0FlOfE18 from two different newscasts I appear at 4:30 (and mix up solar and lunar eclipses at the end).
