Animation demonstrating foveated vision applied to Ilya Repin's painting. The video shows a high-resolution circular region (simulating the fovea) moving across the image, while the periphery remains blurred at lower resolution. This mimics how human eyes actively scan a scene, with only the center of gaze seeing sharp detail while surrounding areas appear less distinct.
