Der Irland-Krimi: Die Toten von Glenmore Abbey • Fernsehfilm Deutschland 2019
#MagdaleneAsylums (#MagdaleneLaundries)**. Een donkere periode in Ierland
Aanrader, ondanks dat het Duits is en in Engeland speelt. Het onderwerp is er eigenlijk te belangrijk voor.

Went to see Rob Manuel doing his @… show.
The very first one. And my opinions are officially so great I won the very first prize. A jar of his queen themed Maam-olade.
Mostly for provoking Doctor Who discussions and having head-shaving mistakes evident I suspect.
It was a fun night in a tiny pub with mostly old grey gen-Xers agreeing with each other about trivial things and laughing.
Excellent stuff. Nice to see you again Rob. Good times were had.

So ‘mistletoe’ comes from the Anglo-Saxon words for ‘shit stick’?

Here’s my 35th “Long Links” outing, curation of long-form offerings, which assume that nobody has time to read all this stuff but one or two of the pieces might brighten your day. This one is mostly political but some of the politics are from France and China. Plus a way-cool analytical history of blogging and a section labeled “wonderful things”.

Many parts of the Internet I know and loath are mostly down. I hope this helps shake confidence in US BigTech. Probably won't, because if people were rational, they wouldn't have built the digital world we're currently forced to inhabit, but who knows, it might. Even the vague possibility of it has made my day better as I head to bed.

I keep on thinking about this so often, now mostly about how the word has been co-opted & abused by contemporary "AI"... Just refound the link (from 2012):

As usual, STMicro makes silicon I mostly like, but I don't like their packages.
Here's the STM32MP257 TFBGA436 package with balls color coded (somewhat roughly) by power domain/function. I grouped some similar rails together e.g. all low voltage digital core balls are the same color (orange) even though there's multiple 0.8 / 0.82 / 0.9V domains there. All IO power (except dedicated PHY rails) is magenta regardless of which bank(s) it's for.
Things of note:

BGA footprint diagram with pins color coded. Some of the yellow and green balls are nowhere near gray ones.
