Sometimes you forget to measure something precisely but it all still works out in the end.

Making great progress on the Shenzhou spacecraft 3D print! Firing up the printer again and streaming the next phase of the build. Hope to see you there! #3dprintinglife #Maker #Space
Remember that time I chopped down a Raspberry Pi Pico and it still worked fine? (I mean, with less GPIO pins, but still.)

I was thinking about making/sewing my own bag but I got stuck on the closure because I kept thinking about zippers... but that's the beauty of a roll top bag, all you need is a buckle!
Heck, I could probably just 3D print one. (Though they also seem to be really cheap to just purchase them.)

I've got more design work to do but I am making good progress on the handheld two button controller.

Do you ever do that thing where you find an STL that might work, but it's not quite right, so you load it up and make some edits, and it's not quite there, so you end up using it as a template to completely redesign your own version from scratch because... that's just what you do?
Me too.

I'm bad at making more organic shapes in OpenSCAD but this is progress so far on a custom "nunchuck" style controller someone asked for.
The buttons would get inserted with wires coming out the bottom to solder into place... then I'd need some sort of small piece to mount the microcontroller to and slide up through the bottom, secured with a screw, probably.
Probably a better way so I'll keep trying!
Whew! Mistakes were made, but I got the dashboard of the Beat Bike put together. I can now pedal to set the tempo while I live program the drum machine. (No video of programming yet because I had to hold the phone up high!)
