46 degrees is a hell of a drop, and quickly. We’ll still be around 75 degrees at 5pm when the cold front hits, then temps go off a cliff to below freezing!

NWS forecast for Memphis. Tomorrow’s high will be 77, then a cold front moves in and the temperature drops 46 degrees, down to 31. Along the ride there’ll be some severe thunderstorms.
