I got invited to talk about #meshcore (and possible #meshtastic ) to the local Radio Amateur Club.
Sure, I will bring some devices and talk about how the network looks like here in Sweden today and also usecases.

I did a test in Romania, #meshtastic vs #meshcore and here is the quick summary:
Over 250 Meshtastic nodes found, compared to 70 Meshcore nodes.

Atmosphere condition was excellent this night, we connected to Denmark, Gothenburg, Skåne and Norway via the new node that we deployed last week.

I finally tried Meshcore on some spare heltec v3 boards I had.
Not many meshcore nodes here, but it hurts my feelings how much more reliable it instantly seemed for actually sending and receiving messages compared to meshtastic.

I guess I'll try meshcore again in a year or two. It's not mature enough, doesn't have an actual purpose, and it's just not fun to use.
