Honestly, the whole #Microslop “morge" debacle throws into question the entire Learn platform.
How much of it is actually helpful content, and how much is generated junk to meet A.I. goals so folks can get promotions and bonuses?
We find ourselves in a terrible time for improving. Some devs are trying to learn, but they're being led down a path of misinformation.

There's a tool named #WinSlop that gets rid of any and all unpleasantries #microslop seems to shovel upon us. Alas, there is a notice on the github page of the project that the domain winslop.com is not owned or operated by the creator of WinSlop.

#Microslop ist in den Social Media Trends. Ich finde ja, dass wir in der EU AiSlop hinter uns lassen sollten und das in "reaktiven KI-Sondermüll" umbenennen. Das kommt ungefähr dem gleich was da generiert wird 🙂

I know mastodon is filling up with linux tinkerers , but I'm joining the 'I love Linux quire'. Bought a macbook air from 2015 just to play with. Put Pop_OS! on it and tinkered a bit to get wifi working. Now it starts faster than my new work computer (filled up with #microslop). So the old Apple guy run laps around the HP from 2025. Cosmic is great on a low specs laptop.

From this distance: it seems like you just kept getting worse and more exploitative since then and trapped millions of people in abusive relationships with tech.
It made me laugh when you went monthly-payment subscription-only, and then laugh even more when suckers actually ponied up for that.
It's fun when people say they don't know how to use Libreoffice, even though Libre is more like the original MS Office (before it was shit) than Office 365 was.
