Moving services to the EU
Like a lot of Europeans, I realise that the US isn't a reliable partner anymore.
I am just talking about myself here, and not my employer, or my family.
I do use a lot of services that are based in the US, and some I will probably not migrate in the near future.
But when I receive a bill, it is a good moment to consider if it is a candidate for migration.

"Is the software I’m making for myself on my phone as good as handcrafted, bespoke code? No. But it’s immediate and cheap. And the quantities, measured in lines of text, are large. It might fail a company’s quality test, but it would meet every deadline. That is what makes A.I. coding such a shock to the system."
Sometimes I do things that I’m proud of. Sometimes, not always. Maybe I just have high standards set for myself…I don’t know.
Then there are people who are proud of their country and all they ever did was be born there, which wasn’t even their choice really.
Those people are psychopaths.
Pride should come from the actions you take, not your surrounding circumstances.

The weirdest spam I get is for "academic conferences" (garbage conferences where you pay to get your paper published so you can pump your publication list). Sure, I totally see myself publishing at a materials science conference in Singapore. Totally. It's been my dream since I was a little monkey.
