We biked next to a section of the Menomonee River that has a railway bridge over it and you can see the debris left from the flood back in August. Yes, the river was as high as the bridge!

I liked the Fox Bay and still mourn it's passing but it's nice to see something opening in that space. I'll be checking it out.

I still have an indeed notification set up for #vue jobs in #milwaukee and I don't get much off of that but the same gig for a "Product Owner / Development Expert" keeps popping up. I can't imagine anything that I would be less interested in.

Chancellor Thomas Gibson is offering a challenge to #UWM faculty and staff: Raise a total of $1,000 by the end of this week, and he will match with a $1,000 gift. Visits to the UWM food pantry rose more than 41% from September to October, as the federal government shutdown cut paychecks and certain government benefits and demand is expected to spike in the coming days as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits are interrupted.
It's a good cause.
