"Municipal Judge Margo Kirchner has ruled that Paul Florsheim, a Shorewood resident and professor at the University of Wisconsin − Milwaukee, was trespassing on private property while walking along Lake Michigan last summer. In December, Florsheim argued in municipal court that a ticket issued for trespassing by Shorewood police was unlawful. As a result, Florsheim is ordered to pay the $313 ticket that he was issued."

I liked the Fox Bay and still mourn it's passing but it's nice to see something opening in that space. I'll be checking it out.

I took the dogs outside to pee and it is scarily warm outside in #Milwaukee.

I just got this from #WUWM in #Milwaukee. I'm not sure that I would be willing to say that their signal is able to reach that far in the best of times but for the past decade, I've also only streamed their content on the internet.

This is every route I've take to/from work on my bike in the past three months...
Sometimes I make an effort to find roads I have not biked down and then try to hit them up so I can get more red lines on the map.

Chancellor Thomas Gibson is offering a challenge to #UWM faculty and staff: Raise a total of $1,000 by the end of this week, and he will match with a $1,000 gift. Visits to the UWM food pantry rose more than 41% from September to October, as the federal government shutdown cut paychecks and certain government benefits and demand is expected to spike in the coming days as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits are interrupted.
It's a good cause.
