#winter

This image captures a breathtaking winter scene of a snow-covered mountain slope. The mountain is blanketed in a thick layer of pristine white snow, with patches of rocky terrain peeking through in some areas. Scattered evergreen trees dot the landscape, their dark green foliage providing a striking contrast against the white snow.

The sky above is clear and pale, suggesting a calm, cold day. The sunlight casts soft shadows on the snow, highlighting the texture and contours of the mountain. Th…

Belated #MonochromeMonday / #MountainMonday: A moody winter day in the Ammergau Alps. A view down the snowed-in river bed of the Linder with the Notkarspitze summit catching the last light in the distance...

B&W photo of a moody winter landscape with dense forest on both sides of an empty snowed-in riverbed leading into the distance. Large mountains in the background, with one of the summits catching the last light. The mountains closer are all cut off by low hanging dark clouds descending into the valley.

"Mr. Mamdani said children had been lobbying him for a snow day, and that one enterprising student had even found an email address for his wife, Rama Duwaji, and sent her a message making the case. “She thought it was a very good argument,” Mr. Mamdani said, nonetheless unconvinced."

Second big batch of Epstein files includes many mentions of Trump
Three days after releasing a large tranche of Jeffrey Epstein documents that contained few mentions of Donald Trump,
the Justice Department on Monday disclosed thousands more files that included wide-ranging references to the president.

The documents show that a subpoena was sent to Mar-a-Lago in 2021 for records that pertained to the government’s case against Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s accomplice in sex …

Kathi asks ChatGPT "how to test a graph algo".
Repeats the query 6 months later…now it mentions PBT.
Huh! We ask it why it mentioned PBT. It cites back…
Our own papers and blog, and specifically mentions our own education research work on why graph algos are a great eg.
Moving the needle!

I'm surprised you mentioned property-based testing. when I asked you a year ago this was not part of your answer. What changed? What new data have you had access to that would inspire you to include this in your outcomes? Have you come across any papers or the like on PBT for education?
ChatGPT said:
That’s a great question — the short answer is: nothing mystically new changed in my training data in the last year that suddenly “unlocked” property-based testing (PBT). Rather, the world…
