It’s missing the part where Kyle feels like he has done a lot of hard work, he absolutely owns it and whoever is copying him is an asshole

At 27 pages into Gil Duršn’s new book “The Nerd Reich” I came full stop at this sentence:
“As many political schools of thought do, these technolibertarians make a philosophy out of a personality defect.”
Simply and elegantly stated. The various techno-optimistic philosophies running around Silicon Valley and the venture capital community are toxic and inhumane. We are desperately in need of a new tech manifesto that puts human wellbeing, acceptance, compassion and love as first principals. Why do we write code if not for this? The current direction of technology leadership has taken a wrong turn onto a dark and destructive path. This needs to change.
This is a great book so far. Highly recommend it.

“Accessibility-first screen reader prediction” is not a solution, folks.
Parsing a DOM and building your _own_ accTree to then *emulate* how desktop screen readers _might_ announce a page as if *maybe* using read-all just ends up putting more burden on human testers.
Never mind missing the bugs, features, heuristics, and more built into a DOM parser and screen reader engine.
Unless your goal is satisfy a dashboard while removing humans from your

I gave up on the 8.3 pkg appearing, building it from the port.
I’m getting a new finger memory:

Give you more XP when you finish a fight with *really* low health. It can be a knife's edge challenge for skilled players and a dynamic difficulty for low skill players.
On Rotwood, we have a power that gives 50% attack damage when you're low health. Or Clair Obscur has a few attacks that scale with how much health you're missing. Encourage playing in this danger zone and help players stuck there. Good for build crafting t…

AI may eventually kill us all, but first it will make us miserable.
You have probably heard of the security weakness in the PHP programming language. If not, it is urgent that you become informed on this issue. It affects a massive number of websites and internal applications. Hackers can bypass security credentials and get full access to servers. Patches are available and should be applied as soon as possible.
Because we have entered a heavy activity period before the December holidays, many companies are in lock-down mode. No one wants to risk upgrades during the most busy season of the year. But this is an exception. A five-alarm fire, if you will. The patches are easier than the Year-2000 event, but much more critical to get done now.
Best wishes to my IT colleagues, and my sympathies.

Okay, it turns out that the media was missing from the backup because I had not actually *turned on* backups for the media, so... Yeah, kind of my fault. #homeassistant
