So now I'm past the beaver dam and looking upstream at the bluff that was in the background

In front of me is a big fallen tree that's lost all of its bark and is great that bifurcates on the left side, directly behind that is a hill on the side of the creek that's been eroded through and exposes at least 100 feet worth of dirt covered with tall and scraggily trees, to my (and your) right there is a rocky beach, and the sky is mostly blue except for a blown-out white cloud to the right

And a 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 of that 𝐻𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑜𝑝𝑠𝑖𝑠 because I had so much fun on Monday, don't worry because people on Bluesky are pestering me to post for #ForestFriday and I'll have more from #MonkeyRun as well as forest runners

Three yellow flowers, one that lost most of it's petals in the center, that have about 12 petals with awide space between them rising out of a bifurcating green stem with an abstract and blurry background that has a lot of horizontal and vertical organization.

So this Monday I made an expedition to Monkey Run; there are two sections that are inaccessible by walking trails so I got a new pair of water shoes to attempt traversal of the first section

Wide angle shot where a person's feet in Keen water shoes can be seen at the very bottom looking very tiny, they're sitting on a field of angular rocks that is surrounded by brown-looking water on both sides, the creek is bounded by trees on both sides that are starting to turn into fall color and above the sky is mostly blue with just scattered white clouds.

The upstream section of monkey run is filled with this kind of yellow daisy flower which my wife said is "either a true or a false sunflower" which I guess means 𝐻𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑜𝑝𝑠𝑖𝑠

Close to the camera are three yellow flowers with just a few big petals and many more of the same flower can be seen further away in dense green vegetation and above them all a spreading tree and a blue sky with a few white clouds, to the right a rocky beach, then a brown creek and past that a bank with trees just starting to turn color.
