TIL about the Octobass as a result of my random YouTube-live-music feed stumbling into a performance of Gounod’s “Messe Solonelle” which is pretty good and, well, has an octobass in the orchestra.

This is the first time a book I've contributed to has gotten the subway platform publicity treatment.

It's been ages since I posted any donkey content. So here's a still from a short film from the early 60s about Philippe, a 5 year-old boy imagining what it would be like to live the story his mother reads to him. The film is held by the Archives de Montréal.
