I remember discussions about US subsidies for CCS as far back as 2003 - accompanied by promises that this was THE SOLUTION. The technology for carbon capture is much older. And it still is not "mature" as a means of addressing #ClimateChange. Why do governments keep wasting money on this? None of the projects have delivered as promised.

He doesn't even mention energy reduction: just energy conservation (without defining it) and efficiency.
