Rest area on I-55 had this ridiculously blatant #MountainDew knockoff. They even lifted the color scheme. My brain registered it as the real thing, until I looked again. I don’t think I’ve ever come closer to actually confusing one brand for another; wonder how many tired travelers have bought this thinking it was the real thing.

A bottle of “Arctic Rain” soda in a vending machine on interstate 55 in Mississippi. At first glance you’d easily mistake it for Mountain Dew, the color scheme is the same as the real McCoy.

Wednesday, I got bold/foolish and did a **17.4km** river walk, while *fasting*. Very little elevation change, but the longer distance and time, plus fasting, gave me a sense of progress.
