Reclining Bacchante, 1834 marble sculpture by Lorenzo Bartolini (Italian, 1777 – 1850), today in the Musée du Louvre, Paris.
The reclining Bacchante is photographed from behind, showing off her gorgeous back and backside. She is reclining on a marble mattress or cushion, her curly hair styled in a bun at the back of the head, with an ivy wreath adorning it.
