I have probably been out the UK too long.
I am foolishly contemplating taking the train from Manchester (airport) to Leeds for a meeting next week.
National rail inform me it will take at least 2 hours and cost anything from £10 to £40..
Half the trains have been replaced by buses.
It's 79km.
I could cycle it in about 4 hours.
#NorthernPowerhouse was just a big lie, wasn't it...
