Tonight‘s program: Wynton Marsalis: The Jungle (Symphony No. 4)

What a stunning concert hall! This appears to be Hill Auditorium at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor - the architectural details are unmistakable with those beautiful concentric arches, the ornate lighting, and that magnificent pipe organ backdrop. The stage is filled with what looks like a full orchestra and choir in performance, captured from an upper balcony perspective. The hall’s famous acoustics and early 20th-century design make it one of the premier concert venues in the region.…
