Time for a work-related announcement that I take as a personal successes as well:
• PEP 817 ("Wheel Variants: Beyond Platform Tags") has been updated to a high-level overview and solution comparison. #Python #PEP #packaging #variants

Now time for something that's not related to Gentoo at all.
After almost two years of work in the #WheelNext Initiative, not to mention all the prior effort, first part of the #Python Wheel Variants proposal has been provisionally accepted as #PEP825. Thanks to everyone involved for your support!
