Finished our first room renovation! Tore out the old builtin wardrobe and minging carpet, replaced skirting board and coving, plastered where the old wardrobe was, laid new flooring, painted. Took ages but happy with it on the whole!
Learnt a lot! Surface on the teal wall is pretty poor due to bad surface prep and thinking paint was more forgiving than it actually is, so will redo that in the new year, and flooring could be laid a bit better with practice. But very happy on the whole!<…

It is silly and ludicrous to lump privacy-preserving webpage translation with GenAI and chatbots and LLMs. While I don't _regularly_ use the translation feature, I absolutely appreciate that the alternative would be something like Google Translate, a materially worse outcome. And, as others have pointed out, bundling a translation tool into the browser makes the web more accessible for people who do not know English. That is a good thing!

I got back in Blender to try and find a color scheme.
Designed a label for it.
Then painted it, varnished it and finally assembled/glued it.
5 of the monsters are with accessories hinting to my brother's skills/hobbies.
The can was designed to hang on a wall.
