Totally normal #Google #Play app situation.
Changes in new version: "restoring backups."
Methinks "that looks like a harmless update".
Reality: AI, new terms of service, new "privacy" policy, make a backup ("in cloud" preferably, can't save locally), sign up for an account (you can skip that), database migration.
Of course, the app itself is not very different. Some random extra padding that makes it look like shit, new database format that's much slower, and lots of useless premium shit.

My wife and I went to a "Yakshagaana" #play today in #Udupi #India. It was only the second play we've ever sat through fully (our first was just last week).
I've so much to say about the experience but don't know where to begin, except say it was mind blowing and wish all #theater was this masterful.
