I'm a little behind with posting my recent photos. but here you see one of my favourite lokal "afternoon hills".
This is one of the RARE hills, where I often walk without camera. But that day the clouds were so low that I just brought it - hoping for some exceptional shots... Exceptional for the location - not wordlwide exceptional ;-)

Since it got cold I haven't been too brave about going out and between that trip to the beach, a breakthrough in another project I've been working on for 8 months, and new project that's making me revive even more old projects my #photography has been slowing down: this trail in Shindagin Hollow skirts the side of a steep and deep gorge

Barren but twisty stems come in from the lower left and progress towards the center -- the main background is bright white snow, but a distant hedgerow cuts off the upper right with a straight line and a blurry mess of stems can be seem under that with a few white specks of snow caught mid-air.
