Testing the tabbed ribbons with #QGIS Studio Themes plugin v0.8's new icons by @…
Definitely a clean look (exceptions mostly due to icons from the ribbon plugin). Will have to test how long it takes me to get used to these new icons.
Of course, …

Been dabbling with the #QGIS ribbon UI PoC: updated it to QGIS 4 and started with refining the tabbed ribbon layouts.
Screenshots of latest draft (strongly inspired by #LibreOffice) and original QGIS 3 dark for comparison below.

In the #QGIS Locator bar, when you type in "set project" and press enter, does it open the settings dialog for you?
Please share OS & QGIS version in your answer. Thanks!

I haven't used the #QGIS Locator bar much so far (except to access the Nominatim Geocoder every once in a while). While dabbling with UI ideas, I ended up throwing it into the upper right corner where - I think - it stands out a bit more than in the bottom status bar. Now, I'm starting to think that it could replace the Processing Toolbox panel for many of my use cases.

I never thought of #QGIS as a PDF viewer 😂 ... but, honestly, by now everything beats #Adobe Reader
