It is good to realize that a “quoted” message in Mastodon can be changed and you will still “quote” it, not a problem but good to be aware of

Funnily enough, a week on since Mastodon introduced quote toots and apart from a small flurry of tests at the beginning, I don't think I've seen a single actual instance of one in the wild.
